My mother's name is Clara.

She worked for forty years. Forty years of showing up, of doing what needed doing, of putting everyone else first without ever calling it a sacrifice.

And in all that time, I almost never saw her buy herself something beautiful.

I watched her do it a hundred times. She would hold something up — a coat, a pair of earrings, a dress she kept coming back to — turn it over in her hands, and put it back. Not because she couldn't. Because somewhere along the way she had decided that wanting something was a thing a woman has to earn first.

I'm twenty-five. I built this boutique so she wouldn't have to keep doing that. And so you wouldn't either.

We're a small online boutique, not a warehouse. Nothing lands here because it's trending.
